TARIQ COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

Tariq College of Education, Rajouri was founded in 2000 by Jb. Late Mohd Sharief Tariq, Former Education Minister of the state. The College is situated at Dassal, a place located at a distance of about 2.5 KM from Rajouri Bus Stand and well-connected with the College and private transport facilities from all the adjoining areas. The College building consists of all kinds of modern technological facilities for providing quality education and training to the students. It is a Co-educational Institution that caters the needs of the students who seek admission in B. Ed course. The College also aims to serve the pupils of it own belt i.e Rajouri, Poonch, Sunderbani & Nowshera and other states as well.
Apart from preparing the students for B. Ed degree, it also enables them to understand the main concept, tools of enquiry of education and develop Competent, innovative and farsighted teachers emphasis is given to make the pupil teacher to understand how the children develop, to plan learning experience in and outside the classroom, to use knowledge of effective, verbal, non-verbal and media communication techniques, to change the behaviour, attitude and values of teacher trainees in the changing scenario, to provide student-teachers self identity as a teacher through school based learning experience and effective intellectual practices. The course work combined in the rigorous practice of teaching, prepare the pupil teachers to make the art of teaching effective and impressive. Special attention is paid to provide a rich programme of curricular activities for students for the all round development of their personality and for the benefit of social development.
